Performance characteristics of silicone rubber
High and low temperature resistance: The working temperature range of silicone rubber is extremely wide, and it can maintain elasticity and stability between -100 ℃ and 350 ℃. For example, properly matched vinyl silicone rubber or low phenyl silicone rubber can still maintain elasticity after thousands of hours at 250 ℃ or hundreds of hours at 300 ℃. Low phenyl silicone rubber vulcanizate can still maintain elasticity after tens of hours of hot air aging at 350 ℃. Its glass transition temperature is -140 ℃, and the vulcanizate still has elasticity at a temperature of -70 ℃ to 100 ℃.
